Amazon Letdown

I ordered a product from Amazon on May 17th. Estimated delivery date was June 6th. On the 5th, I noticed it hadn't shipped, so I called customer service, and they updated it to the 7th. On the 7th, I received an email saying that the item was not yet ready and my new anticipated delivery date was up to June 30th. I contacted customer service and explained that this was unacceptable and I needed this item. They set me up with expedited shipping and promised I would have my item no later than the 24th. On the morning of the 24th I logged onto my account and noticed that the item had not yet shipped. The customer service rep I called updated my effective date to the 25th. I spoke to another one via chat, and they said they would look into the matter. I received an email that afternoon that said the item was unavailable from the supplier, they could not predict when it would become available, and they would offer a $15 credit as a "gesture of goodwill." This was a time sensitive item. I chose Amazon due to reasonable price listing, and trusted them the first time I brought my complaint to customer service because they seemed to be making an effort in good faith to resolve the issue. Now, that they have failed, I had to order the item at a higher price with expedited shipping. Their "gesture of goodwill" came nowhere near compensating for the inconvenience they caused me. I have lost time, energy, and money due to this gross incompetence.

We ordered a new crib and mattress and got bed bugs. Amazon has not responded to my email or phone calls. They did offer me 10% off my next purchase, though.

Amazon - Comforter Review from Phoenix, Arizona

I ordered a comforter from them, and it came with a few little surprises! Bed bugs! Bed bugs everywhere! Disgusting! I can't believe that this company allows such a thing! These people shouldn't be allowed to continue to sell on amazon, or anywhere! I now have to get rid of all fabric items in my house thanks to these people! I tried calling customer service, but guess what? They disabled it! These people are crooks! They should not be able to sell anything!

Delivered to P.O. box

I have lived at 118 Road 2800 for 2 1/2 years. Before that I lived at 128 Road 2800 for 13 years this address is next door to my new address. My address is ok to deliver to. I do have a large home there you can see it from the road. That is were I want my boxes delivered to why else would I put my road address on the item. You cant complete with UPS if you don't do what the customer wants. Can you handle that? UPS can without any problems. Maybe the driver was to lazy to drive to my home. I like Amazon Prime

I can get what I need in 2 days. Amazon Prime is one of the primary factors that allows me to live without a car (the other big one being living in a big city in a nice, walkable neighborhood that has good public transit). It's well worth the 90 to 100 dollars a year that I pay. I used to own a car and would hop in it and go buy things at a moment's notice. That was fun, but also led to spending more money on junk that just clogged up my place. With Prime, I do consider whether I really want/need something before I buy it and if I do, it only takes 2 days for it to reach me (almost all the time).

Apex Media claims book was not returned

I rented a book from Apex Media through Amazon, and when the book was returned, the company did not acknowledge the return and I was charged 165$. Unfortunately, I did not have the packaged tracked through UPS return address feature. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. This company is out to steal your money and nothing else. why on earth would you NOT have it tracked? it's the only way to verify with them that it was/was not received.

while I feel for your $$$ loss it is in fact YOUR fault for not having it tracked for all they know you kept the book and are just trying to blame it on being lost in shipping or something

Shipping delay

I ordered a book from daily deal. I have had very good luck in the past. Have gone to Amazon.com for many things. Have gotten many books from the site. They have come on time and been as advertised. But this time I ordered a book for my Grandson. The order was placed May 13. I got confirmation that it would arrive by mail May 20 to June 5th by mail. June 5th arrived and no book. My wife bought it at a book store and it did arrive that night by UPS. I had written to Daily Deal about the situation. They assured me that they would look into it. More time went by and I wrote again. They told me there was no tracking number because it was sent by mail. That was a lie because it was sent by ups. Very disappointed with your service right now. Lot more to say about this but space is at a premium.

Amazon is a Fraud

Amazon closed my seller account for no apparent reason without any explanation, blocking my $3k for 90 days and than started to giving away my money. First, they reopened 2 months old claim they denied before and refunded the buyer $170, of course, without even requiring the buyer to return the item. Than the buyer bought an iPhone for $830 and claimed it was not as advertised and requested to return it. The return was approved and the buyer sent us a $20 phone (all smashed) instead of the iPhone that was cost $830. We picked up the package from the UPS center (we suspected the buyer would send us a different phone) and UPS manager documented everything in writing what was shipped back to us. We took pictures of the returned item as well. So we forwarded this documentation to Amazon to appeal that A-Z case but Amazon refunded the buyer $830 ignoring the documents we sent them. So Amazon is siding with a fraud buyers even if you have proof that the buyer is a fraud. Well..police report was filed as well as filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center and other organizations. Now we are planing on taking Amazon to a small claims court. We cannot allow Amazon to get away with this kind of crime.

Book Rental Review

Rented a book for a fair price and blindly trusted the service because I trust Amazon. I returned the book on time and in the same condition I received it. Today I received an email informing me that my return was "rejected" (because of supposed torn pages) and I was simultaneously charged over $350! What a scam! The book is not even worth $300 brand new! Apex Media needs to be marked fraudulent because they stole my money! They are thieves! *It is worth mentioning that Amazon's representatives seemed to do all they could to help me. Still, I can not say I am impressed with their policy on this issue. I am a college student and already facing financial hardships. What a burden this has become!

AMAZON.COM SUCKS! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I had an incredibly exhausting and frustrating experience with Amazon. I will shop from Walmart and other online retailers from now on. When I placed my order, there was no message of a delayed availability of the product. I was not communicated of the delay either. I had to go on line to check on delivery status. Then, when I made the query to customer service, I was given a standard template for delay policy. Trying to coverup after the fact doesn't help! And when I called to complain, they offered to price match and to pay the difference for me to go find alternatives locally which puts the ownership and the work on me to resolve. And when I asked for Amazon to offer alternatives, options were put into my cart to select from. Great, except when I decided on an item that was cheaper at Walmart, I'm told Amazon doesn't do price matching and that the rep that told me that would be reprimanded and by the way, here's $10 for your trouble. Really? I've been a customer for over 10 years and that was offered? It's not my issue that Amazon has internal communication issue. And when I asked to talk to a 'supervisor,' it doesn't help to talk to a kid who tries to nickle and dime me for the cost difference of $40 for a replacement item. Ridiculous. Amazon just lost a long term Prime customer.
