Kindle Unlimited Lack of Billing Transparency and Customer Engagement | Amazon review

I didn't even realize I was paying $9.99 per month for Kindle Unlimited. I guess at one point I signed up for it (probably a free trial) but I rarely used it. When I tried to look into when I was being billed I couldn't even find monthly statements or invoices on amazon's site even after searching google for more info. I actually kind of want the service but IMO it is a fail because there is such a lack of transparency that I forget about it. Jeff, you could make this service so useful. For example, I'm paying $9.99 per month so why not remind me with an alert in the amazon app every month that I should take advantage of my kindle unlimited subscription by trying out these books and or magazines I might not like? Why not make it possible for me to see what I've been paying? Now, I see that a lot of the same books and magazines are available with Prime Reading so why would I continue to pay almost $120/year for Kindle Unlimited? Canceled.

I ordered from Amazon in August, was supposed to recieve in September. Never recieved the item. Have tried numerous times to contact Amazon to no avail. When I reply to emails from them, I'm told not to email that , go to customer service. I'm then asked for my account. I don't have one and after this experience, never will. I will no longer do business with Amazon. The communication was bad, there was no service(since I didn't recieve), I have tried to unsubscrib e but still keep getting their emails. They should have an email setup for people who are infrequent customers. Perhaps they needed my money more than I did.

When you have a problem with an Amazon order you just go to their site, click on "my orders" and then sign in and click the order and you will see buttons to click on for such things as problems with orders, etc. To order from Amazon you must have created an account with an email address, name, etc.

Thus, you are obviously confused---and greatly so. If you didn't get the product, then just dispute the charge with your credit card company.

You DID use a credit and not a debit card, didn't you? It is rather unsafe to use a debit card for much of anything.

Here is a copy of the report filed with the BBB and if my outcome isn't fulfilled in 3 days I will be filing a report with the FBI on your fraudulent conduct. Your complaint has been submitted and assigned the ID 11846422 This Business was Accredited at the time the Complaint was made. Complaint Detail / Problem Complaint Type: Delivery Issues Problem: I ordered a package (amazon echo) on November 23rd. 2016, The package was supposed to be delivered on November 25th. When I received a text message for the package being delivered I immediately went to my front door to retrieve my package and it wasn't there. I then went downstairs to my lobby to retrieve the package and it wasn't there either. I called amazon to confirm delivery and to see where they could have left my package. I talked to a person claiming to be Anthony S. He asked me to go back downstairs and to look again for the package claiming that the delivery driver could have dopped It off at the side of the building, it wasn't there. He then said I would get a replacement echo on November 28th 2016. When I called on November 28th, 9:10am the customer service rep. couldn't help me put a replacement. I asked to talk to a supervisor and he told me they couldn't give me a replacement date. When I asked to get an Id# I was told that they didn't give out Id#'s. When I asked to get a name of the person who I was talking to they said they couldn't give out the names of the people who I previously talked to just the person who I was talking to presently. I called back to talk to "Soni" who later claimed his name was "Chris", when I proved he was lying I asked to talk to a supervisor and "Max" from management came on and he gave me his Id# 30213583. And made another promise stating the package would be delivered Novemeber 29th between 8am and 5pm. He also stated that he would be emailing me a new order number and a email witht the names and Id# of the people who I talked to earlier. It never came. I was on the phone with amazon for approximately 2.5 hours. That is unexceptable for any company rated A+ by BBB standards. They lied, they conceled their names and they fraudulently kept a package that I paid for. Desired Resolution / Outcome Desired Resolution: Other (requires explanation) Desired Outcome: I want all the real names and Id#s of the people I talked to and I want a confirmation of their reprimand for lying and defrauding me. I want a copy of the recording of each conversation I had with the representatives on November 25th and November 28th. I also want a free amazon echo for the inconvenience.

Cheat! Sent a cheaper laptop for the cost that I paid. Asked for a 512GB & 2.9GHZ Macbook pro. What I got is 256GB & 2.7GHZ. Had to send it across to another country in 2 days. After spending an hour on the call with Amazon the solution they give me is. We will give you a refund! Refund happens in 4-5 days. I got no money to spend $1700 to buy it from another store right now. No Replacement. No other solution. Pathetic service. Wrong item sent. No Assistance. Left with no option but to post this in grief. Being on a call for assistance for over an hour with nothing that helps your case. I call it bad service

You probably cannot blame Amazon, because they rely on the delivery company to deliver their products. They use USPS alot now and we all realize how inefficient that government agency is!

You can find out how it was supposed to be delivered by going into that particular order and it will tell you who is supposed to deliver it.

Remember, today is a holiday and probably no company is delivering today. Bad delivery is becoming more common with Amazon due to their reliance on others.

I brought a mattress from Amazon. Let me say this I would never buy another mattress from Amazon again. It was supposed to be firm gel / form mattress. Well firest of all it so uncomfortable. You didn't say whether the camera you ordered was coming direct from Amazon or fulfilled by a third party. In any event, dispute the charge with your credit card company and see what happens.

There large delivery service is awful and Amazon dropped the ball big time because it did not take care to give correct phone information after number was updated online and through a live phone call. Amazon failing to refund for undelivered ipod

I ordered an ipod from a seller on October 12th. Amazon sent a message stating that the item was damaged in transit and was undelivered. Communication with the seller was him sending a series of insult when I placed a negative review on their site. Amazon removed the comment and accepted liability as an item Fulfilled by Amazon and offered me a $50 gift card for my trouble and the poor service offered if I remove the comment. Amazon still has not refunded me my $100 which I paid for the item. So I am without the item and money . I cannot understand why Amazon is not refunding me after accepting liability for an item which was damaged and undelivered. I an SICK AND DISGUSTED with the service Amazon has provided and the abuse of their seller. I simply want my money refunded.
